FREE SHIPPING! Designed to be carried in combat, the Military Model, conforms to these standards by pairing a CMP-S30V stainless blade with a slim G-10 handle. The purpose of this design is to create the feeling of a natural extension of the hand.
The task of maintenance and cleaning has been simplified through the design of the open constructed handle, which makes blowing or flushing out debris and dirt effortless.
For the needed combat reliability, CPM-S30V with almost 2% carbon was the proper choice for the blade as it is intended for long-term edge retention and rust resistance in military combat applications. The blade is a modified clip-point and laser cut with a 14 mm Spyderco Round Hole for quick deployment and for use while wearing gloves. Texturing above the hole hold the thumb in contact with the blade's spine during cutting for exacting control over the sharpened edge.
The handle scales are lightweight and durable G-10 with the lock's liner nested (inlayed) directly into the scale, in efforts to increase lock strength without the addition of bulky liners.
The shape of the handle flares at the front end and at the butt end, which keeps the knife from slipping forward or backward in the hand while sawing or making tough or aggressive cuts. A contoured black metal clip is set for right-hand tip-down carry.
